They say I’m not worthy of your love.
They say I will never measure up.
All the good things that I do.....Could never begin to satisfy you.
What they say, I know it’s true. But what they don’t tell me.......
It’s not about me..................It’s all about you.
It’s all about what you’ve done..........It’s not about what I can do.
And that’s the beauty of it all. And that’s the beauty of your love.
That you call me your child, even though I’ll never be good enough.
To love........one who’s worthy is not that grand.
Than to love.......a beggar with....empty hands.
And maybe that’s where you want me to be.
Broken, humbled, down on my knees.
Maybe that’s where you want me to be.
Broken, humbled, down on my knees....sayin’
It’s not about me..................It’s all about you.
It’s all about what you’ve done..........It’s not about what I can do.
And that’s the beauty of it all. And that’s the beauty of your love.
That you call me your child, even though I’ll never be good enough.
You’d think I’d be disenchanted by this revelation.
Instead a weight has been lifted, and I think I’m beginning to understand.
That your burden is light. That you are rest for the weary.
You are my righteousness......You are my holiness............
It’s all about you.
It’s all about what you’ve done..........It’s not about what I can do.
And that’s the beauty of it all. And that’s the beauty of your love.
That you call me your child.....
And that’s the beauty of your love. That I can serve you solely out of a thankful heart.
Praise God there is freedom in knowing I’ll never be good enough.
