Purpose of Ministry:
“To encourage others by sharing my struggles and my delight in finding a faith in Christ that is real and personal.”

Growing up in Ohio within a musical family, Laura started playing piano and clarinet in elementary school and continued being involved in music through high school. It wasn’t until college that her faith and singing grew the most. As she participated in Bible studies, she was amazed at how true and relevant the Bible was. The person of Jesus was so compelling! During this period of time she committed her life to Christ and determined to do all she could do to fully live for Him. Through involvement within a campus ministry singing group, she discovered a passion for ministering through singing. She had the opportunity to tour many different churches throughout Ohio and took summer tours out west and to England.

After graduation, Laura moved to the Chicago area for employment as a software engineer. She continued using her musical gifts to give praise to her creator by singing solos regularly in the church she attended. In 1997 Laura worked with a friend to start a praise and worship team at their church. Ever since then, she’s been actively involved in assisting leading worship. In 2003 Laura assembled a band and performed her first concert which included several originals. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive and encouraging. Since that first concert, Laura has enjoyed performing in various coffeehouses, outdoor events and churches.

Laura, her husband and their three children make their home in the northwest Chicago suburbs.  Laura enjoys corn puffs, dancing in the kitchen, and playing tennis with people who aren't that good.
