I WILL PRAY

Romans 8:26-27
I can't imagine, how it'd be
to live a life like yours.
I can't imagine, what it must
take to get through each and every day.
Oh the demons you face are
much more different from my own.
And I think what do I know,
what can I possibly do to help you.
Then a familiar breeze washes
over me, reminding me.
To pray. Oh pray. Pray. I will
pray.
What is often my last line of
defense, it will be my first today.
Why does it take so long for
me to call upon
the only one who can fully
meet your need?
Oh what a mystery, you'd think
I'd learn from history,
Not to wait to intercede.
For when we don't know how to
pray the spirit will speak for us.
With sighs to deep for words;
God knows the hearts of all
men and He understands. He sends that
familiar breeze that washes
over me, reminding me.
To pray. Oh pray. Pray. I will
pray.
What is often my last line of
defense, it will be my first today.
