A place that is steady and sure

I embraced all the world’s assurances and I found that the world’s
Security is fleeting. Security fades fast
The security I once knew is one that won’t last
All my hopes and dreams have all washed away
They were resting on a foundation that would not stay.

That I could build my life from and retreat to.
